It is our mission to provide re-homing and medical care to displaced companion animals and to support the community in areas of humane education, behaviour counseling, the promotion of responsible pet ownership, and the needs of animals.

Our program consists of a “pack” of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to the cause of Animal Rescue, Adoption and Humane Education. The TAGS program is 100% volunteer, we have no paid staff. Our charity is not funded through any form of grants or government support.
The Animal Guardians raise funds to care for our animals through fundraiser's, and the generosity of animal lovers who donate. Our program routinely receives numerous requests from local animal shelters to take needy dogs. Foster Homes are the difference between Life and Death to an animal in need. One of the most important and rewarding jobs that a volunteer can do is to serve as a foster home for an animal before they are placed in their forever homes. The usual symptoms of Kennel Cough include a dry, "non-productive" cough. The dog sounds as if there is something stuck or caught in the throat and the coughing is an unsuccessful attempt to dislodge the object. Read More...
